What is showbizzle?
showbizzle is comprised of scripted entertainment and a complimentary social community that focus on the process of breaking into the entertainment industry. We've got scripted entertainment, lots of bonus features and many ways to get involved in our community. Whether you want to watch and enjoy or roll up your sleeves and get in on the action this is a place for you!
What should I know about showbizzle: the show?
The show is our main attraction, web series and namesake about a group of diverse twentysomethings dealing with the comical and backbreaking process of what it takes to make it in show business. New episodes will be added to the site every week! The first season has original 23 episodes and will feature almost 40 characters!
showbizzle's main character is Janey, an aspiring writer who likes to hang out at her favorite coffee shop and listen to the crazy stories her friends love to tell. Janey’s friends are actors, writers, agents, assistants, producers and so much more – Janey is the kind of girl who knows everyone, and, luckily for her, she’s got an entertaining cast of characters to listen to – as Janey puts it, “there’s always somebody hooking up, screwing up, breaking up… all while chasing their first big break”.
We never see Janey on camera – not yet anyway (wink) – but we definitely hear her opinion as she talks back to her friends in the videos and through her blog postings that can be found on each character's profile page. By the way, this means there is more than one way to watch our show: as 23 weekly episodes or you can follow one character's story from beginning to end. Individual character videos will be added to the character pages at the same time that the new weekly content is posted.

showbizzle's special features aim to entertain and also inform people about the entertainment industry.
"Inside the Bizzle" is an ongoing conversation with top industry insiders about their careers, how they succeeded and their heartfelt advice and encouragement for people getting started.
"Bizzle Bits" is a place to watch our bits, not the naughty ones, but the behind the scenes footage and mini-documentary style videos about the show.
"The Digital Showcase" is a stage to promote upcoming talent of all stripes whether it be actors, writers, directors, stand up comics - anyone striving to be heard and tell their story.

showbizzle serves up professionally produced entertainment but we're also looking for newly emerging talent to get in on the act: artistic and cool people like you! Based in Hollywood but aimed at creating a new worldwide community of actors, writers, directors and fans, showbizzle is the perfect place for personalities who want to help create a new entertainment platform.
In our constant efforts to find fresh talent we will be hosting video contests that keep you in the mix and heading toward the limelight! Show business can be rough and tumble - hopefully showbizzle will be a whole lotta fun.
