OK: so every day, Janey, a young screenwriter, goes to her favorite coffee shop in L.A. to write. She orders a vanilla latte, opens up her computer, and stares at the blank page...for hours. (That's never happened to you, has it?)

That's why Janey is only too happy to be interrupted by one of her zillion friends and acquaintances...and it seems all of them are either hooking up, breaking up or screwing up, all while chasing their first big break. Everybody she knows is playing the same Hollywood game, all trying to break into the bizzle.

Janey loves listening to people's stories - you never know where good material might come from, right? And people love talking to her, because she's compassionate, non-judgmental, and a good listener...  and it doesn't hurt that her father produces movies in Hollywood.

Oh, one other thing you should know about Janey: she's a fictional character, like everyone else you'll see on the series -- which currently features 26 different actors performing in 141 two-minute segments -- about trying to jumpstart a career in Hollywood. Think of it as serialized storytelling distilled for the digital age.
